As an atmospheric scientist and African-American who professionally or personally deals with climate change, the pandemic, and racial narratives, I have noticed three common threads among them. In the climate change world, we often deal with talking points that just don’t seem to go away. I can’t tell you how many times I hear some one criticize a weather or climate change prediction when it is actually personal math or statistics literacy on display.
