Three central Pennsylvania credit unions have been recognized by Forbes Magazine. The magazine recently released its list of “Best-In-State Credit Unions 2023″. Forbes names these five credit unions as the best ones in Pennsylvania:American Heritage Federal Credit Union, Philadelphia PSECU, Harrisburg Patriot Federal Credit Union, Chambersburg Police and Fire Federal Credit Union, Philadelphia Members 1st Federal Credit Union, Hampden Township“It’s an incredible honor to be recognized for the fifth consecutive year on this national list of top credit unions, and particularly exciting that we were ranked in the top two Pennsylvania credit unions,” PSECU president and CEO, George Rudolph, said in a news release. MethodologyTo create the lists of “Best Credit Unions In Each State 2023″, Forbes partnered with market research firm Statista and surveyed approximately 31,000 U.S. residents. There are nearly 4,100 banks and 4,900 credit unions in the United States, according to Forbes, which recognized 137 banks, and 147 credit unions across the country.
