Officers have been taken to area hospitals,” the New Jersey State Policemen’s Benevolent Association said on Twitter. Union City and Hudson County authorities did not immediately provide more details on the incident. A spokesman for the Hudson County Sheriff’s Office did not immediately return calls for comment.
