Share TweetBy the Philippine News AgencyThe Philippine National Police (PNP) announced that it will be deploying some 300 police officers to take part in the 32nd anniversary commemoration of the EDSA People Power Revolt on Sunday. John Bulalacao, PNP spokesperson, said the event will take place at the People Power Monument in EDSA, Quezon City. He added that the 300 police personnel will be part of the “Salubungan” activity, which is the annual reenactment of the union of the people forces in the ouster of former President Ferdinand Marcos. This year’s commemoration will highlight activities with the theme “EDSA 2018: Effecting Change Towards Strengthened Democracy”.
