MANILA, Philippines — The Philippine government yesterday facilitated the arrival of 342 Filipinos from Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, marking the eighth chartered repatriation flight for returning nationals. Of the total number, 203 are overseas Filipino workers, accompanied by 119 dependents and relatives, while 20 are other Filipino nationals. The repatriation was carried out through the coordinated efforts of the Department of Migrant Workers, particularly the Migrant Workers Office in Abu Dhabi, the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration and the Department of Foreign Affairs through the Philippine embassy.
