Of those, 230 will be held in Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) and 180 in Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) areas, reports BSS. Around 228 Eid congregations will be held in 57 wards under DSCC while 180 in 36 wards under DNCC. Like previous years, Dhaka’s main Eid congregation will be held at Jatiya Eidgah Maidan. A total of five Eid congregations will be held at Baitul Mukarram national mosque this year. Several congregations would be held on Dhaka University campus, including two at the central mosque at 8am and 9am.
