Forty two machine tools of the Government Industrial Training Institute, Tiruverumbur, repaired and reconditioned by the Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited, Tiruchi, were commissioned on Tuesday. Muralidharan, Chairman, TREAT, S.Ramamurthy, Deputy Director and Principal, Govt ITI, Tiruverumbur, and Thaniyarasu, Training Officer, Govt ITI, Tiruverumbur spoke. S.Gopinath, Executive Director, BHEL, Tiruchi, commissioned the machines at a function organised at the Government ITI, Tiruverumbur. He said the repaired machines would go a long way in assisting the students to acquire the required skills and make them industry ready. He called upon the students to make the most of the opportunities available and achieve laurels in acquiring skills.
