An outbreak of COVID-19 has been confirmed at the Fledglings Educare Centre in Calgary, the province confirmed on Friday. Five cases have been linked to the outbreak, which includes three children. The government did not release the ages of those affected, but children attending the southwest daycare and preschool are between one year old and 12 years old. The identified cases involve a small cohort, which lessens the likelihood of wider exposure, McMillan said. CBC News has reached out to Fledglings Educare Centre for comment.
