With stars like Ronda Rousey, John Cena and Brock Lesnar gone from WWE for the time being (and in Rousey's case, perhaps forever), WWE needs to create new stars to avoid having its viewership plummet even further during the post-WrestleMania lull. Here are five stars who badly need a new gimmick. Its second big mistake came when Nakamura failed to defeat AJ Styles for the WWE Championship on several occasions. The only thing truly holding Cesaro back is the backing of the creative team and perhaps the right gimmick. If you look at the characters that are currently clicking with WWE fans more than most, they are distinguishable gimmicks like Becky Lynch, Daniel Bryan and Kofi Kingston.
