Forbes’ annual rankings of the best employers in the U.S. this year includes two Kansas City-area companies in the top 10 and six overall. Best known for its GPS tools and smart watches, Garmin reported revenue of $4.86 billion in 2022. The company reported 4,648 local full-time-equivalent employees as of last summer. The company (NYSE: HRB) had revenue of $3.49 billion last year, up less than 1% from $3.46 billion in 2022. The tax preparation company reported 1,142 local full-time equivalent employees as of last summer.
