600 goods exported to MERCOSUR exempted from full customs as of Sept


CAIRO - 27 August 2020: Minister of Trade and Industry Niven Gamea' said that full customs duty exemption will applied on 600 Egyptian goods exported to MERCOSUR countries as of September 1. This comes within the framework of free trade agreement inked between Egypt and MERCOSUR countries which include Brazil, Argentina, Paraguay and Uruguay, she said in statements. The MERCOSUR agreement support increasing exports to the different international markets and opening new horizons for the Egyptian products, Gamea' said. The Ministry of Trade is keen on benefiting from the markets of all the MERCOSUR exported to countries to promote for the Egyptian exports in the markets of Latin America. The authority is keen on permanent contact with all the Egyptian exporting companies in order to facilitate the flow of Egyptian goods to the international markets, Meghawry said.
