Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Anisul Huq handed over the car keys to the judges on the premises of the Directorate of Registration, a handout said, reports BSS. In the 2018-19 fiscal, the Ministry of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs purchased 109 sedan cars and six microbuses at a cost of Tk38.76 crore for the judges of the subordinate courts. Among the vehicles, 46 cars were brought for the district and session judges at a cost of Tk17.21 crore, while 62 cars were for additional district and session judges costing Tk18.35 crore, and a car worth Tk64 lakh for the Administrative Appellate Tribunal. Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Secretary ASSM Zahirul Haque and Joint Secretary Golam Sarwar were present, among others, at the event.
