The talks were initiated by the Board of Investments led by Trade Undersecretary Ceferino Rodolfo and Director Maria Corazon Dichosa. Guevara said these manufacturers will first build a "fill and finish" facility where the bulk antigen will be transformed into vaccine vials. Meanwhile, Guevara said the Philippines will hold first a "soft trial" in preparation for the Solidarity Vaccine Trial of the World Health Organization (WHO). "We can say that these three food supplements and locally-available herbal medicine and supplements can provide symptomatic relief against Covid-19," Guevara said.
