COTABATO CITY: The Integrated Provincial Health Office has confirmed of 7 new polio cases in Maguindanao as of January this year. Dr. Elizabeth Samama, Maguindanao health chief, on Sunday said their health workers are preparing for another round of massive vaccinations on Monday. “Eight month to four years old,” she said of the ages of those found positive to have been hit by polio virus. Earlier, two confirmed polio cases were (both males aged 2 and 3) monitored in Maguindanao. “Please make your children protected against polio virus,” Samama told parents in Maguindanao.
