81 barangays in CL remain flood-plaguedCity Of San Fernando, Pampanga — Although the weather condition in Central Luzon has significantly improved, floods have kept 81 barangays mostly in this province nearly paralyzed until yesterday, regional disaster officials said. San Luis town also continued to endure flooding of up to 2 feet. In Masantol town, the villages of Alauli and Bagang remain under 2 feet of flood water due to the damaged check gate of the Pandan Creek adjacent to Barangay Sagrada. In San Simon, eight of nine villages remain flooded while the towns of Minalin and Apalit have three flooded villages each while the City of San Fernando and Candaba each have two barangays submerged in flood. Timoteo also identified 15 road sections in Pampanga that were still impassable to light vehicles as of yesterday.
