990 Egyptians stranded leave Kuwait on board 6 flights


CAIRO - 14 July 2020: Kuwait's Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) said Tuesday that 990 stranded Egyptians in the Gulf country flew home on board six flights. Three flights carrying 495 Egyptian nationals left for Cairo, two flights carrying 310 Egyptians for Sohag and one flight with 185 passengers on board left for Assiut, DGCA's statement added. The flights are operated by Kuwait Airways, Jazeera Airways K.S.C, FlyEgypt and Air Arabia Egypt company, the statement added. The Kuwaiti Civil Aviation Authority on Thursday July 9, said that 1,015 stranded Egyptians left the country back home on board of six flights. The civil aviation directorate said in a press release that the stranded Egyptians left for Cairo, Sohag and Assiut.
