The video depicts a struggling German shepherd being coaxed into a pool of simulated river rapids against its will. A second shot shows the animal plunging underwater before being rescued by the crew. Therefore, we’re not sure how much time has passed in the space between them, and what has occurred since. But the octopus, despite being a frighteningly intelligent animal, doesn’t quite provoke the same emotional response as a dog.
