This weekend, Mumbaikars will get a chance to try their hand at Longpi pottery. He himself learnt the craft of Longpi pottery from his father. Participants for the workshop will first get a brief introduction about this kind of pottery (history, present and future), the materials being used and their significance and benefits. Each participant will be given a small cup separately as well for the workshop to do cane piping on its handle and can take these home with them. The workshop will be held on Friday from 4 pm to 7 pm at Space 118, Wadi Bunder Road, Mazgaon.
