You may have heard or read about a new discovery involving dark matter. Discovering dark matter would help explain a number of astronomical observations that we do not yet understand and it could open up our understanding of the universe as a whole. For this reason, many scientists have been chasing the dark matter theory and recently they have found a new clue. This spike was hard to explain and therefore a dark matter origin was suggested. The idea is that dark matter atoms might have two energy states separated by 3.5 keV.
