The New York Knicks’ forward, Julius Randle, will likely not play in Game 1 of their Eastern Conference semifinal series against the Miami Heat due to a sprained left ankle. According to sources, ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski reported that Randle is expected to sit out because of his injury. Although he returned for Game 1 of the Knicks’ first-round series versus the Cleveland Cavaliers, Randle struggled to find his rhythm in the games that followed. As Julius Randle will not be available for Game 1 of the Knicks’ playoff series against the Miami Heat, the team will need to rely on other players to make up for his absence. Knicks coach Tom Thibodeau said that the team is ready to step up and play collectively to make up for Randle’s injury.
