Last Friday, Mr Odinga linked President Kenyatta’s family to the financial scandal at the Ministry of Heath. Kakamega Governor Wycliffe Oparanya said he would support Mr Odinga in his bid to become the country’s fifth president next year. Meanwhile, Devolution Cabinet Secretary Mwangi Kiunjuri and Laikipia East MP Mutahi Kimaru criticised Mr Odinga “for dragging President Kenyatta’s name into the scandal”. We are telling Mr Odinga that we also have damning information about him. We are not opposed to checks and balances but it is individuals who should be held accountable for corruption,” Mr Kiunjuri said.
