Chunk the Groundhog and his family went viral on social media for their ASMR eating videos taken with Jeff Permar's home security camera in Middletown, Del. It showed a groundhog staring at the camera while holding and eating a cucumber. He named the groundhog Chunk in honor of the large bites he took with his incisors. AdvertisementClips of Chunk eating have recently gone viral on social media as the wild groundhog and his ever-growing family, whom Permar calls “The Chunks,” have built a fan base. Permar said the groundhog family now has about 20 members, so he’s had to find ways to tell them apart.
