With 2.5 million people entering the job market every year, unemployment stands as a major hurdle for us. So far, the biggest contributor to employment generation has been the private sector, but it still needs to be facilitated by the government in order to truly make employment generation sustainable. Therefore, the onus lies on the administration to engage leading businessmen in our private sector in the matter of designing appropriate policies, their formulation, and implementation. And with such improvements come increased job prospects, especially for the youth. To that end, it seems the government itself has a job to do.
