I don’t believe that by those words, Mr. Jianhua meant China won’t attack the Philippines even when the need arises. Evidently, Ambassador Jianhua was getting intimidated by the unceasing propaganda by US mouthpieces depicting China as the aggressor in the South China Sea conflict. Rather than gripe about popular misperceptions by Filipinos of Chinese military efforts in the South China Sea, accentuate the positive.
