A trip to the far side of the MoonThe current Moon mission has been a most welcome distraction from the depressing events in the Middle East. In July 1969, I happened to watch the first Moon landing in a Makkasan noodle shop. In addition to the Moon landing we were treated to Woodstock, Chappaquiddick and Richard Nixon in the White House. Now we are in a musical mood here are a few more moon songs to hum along to: Moondance (Van Morrison), Harvest Moon (Neil Young), Walking on the Moon (The Police), Moonshadow (Cat Stevens) and Ticket to the Moon (ELO). Then there is Fly Me to the Moon (Frank Sinatra) and How High the Moon (Ella Fitzgerald).
