Two people have been taken to hospital after a collision between two vehicles on the A143 near Thorpe Abbotts. Officers were called at noon today to the incident, which happened near the junction with The Street. The road was closed and two people have been taken to hospital, one with potentially serious injuries. After the incident in College Street, Bury St Edmunds, a woman was arrested on suspicion of animal cruelty and later bailed pending further investigations.
