Italian giants AC Milan are reportedly prioritising the signing of Olivier Giroud this summer, as his Chelsea contract comes to an end. Giroud, who will turn 35 in September, has scored 11 goals in all competitions this season and has long been linked with a move to the Italian top flight. Olivier Giroud has emerged as a top summer target for AC Milan, according to reports in ItalyInter Milan, Lazio and Roma have each also been linked with the Frenchman, who has now spent almost a decade in the Premier League with Arsenal and Chelsea respectively. On Tuesday Giroud was named as part of France's 26-man squad for the upcoming European championships, after receiving a vote of confidence from manager Didier Deschamps. Deschamps is known to be an admirer of Giroud and played him seven times during the 2018 Russia World Cup, in which he failed to get on the score-sheet.
