The African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Ondo State has intensified efforts to reposition itself as a formidable opposition platform, vowing to deepen grassroots mobilisation and empower citizens ahead of the 2027 general elections. Among those elected into the new executive are Dare Akinwale as Organising Secretary, Oloye Ola Amure as Legal Adviser, Hon. The officials emerged through consensus, a move party leaders said reflects unity of purpose within the ADC ranks. Agboola accused the APC of deliberately weakening opposition structures, alleging that similar tactics had been deployed in other states to entrench one-party dominance. According to him, the party has also purged internal saboteurs, declaring that the ADC in Ondo is now repositioned to offer credible leadership and a viable alternative to the ruling party.
