The European index declined 0.4% to 151.86, the Asian index was 0.8% lower at 183.41, the Latin American index dropped 1.4% to 206.08 and the emerging markets index fell 0.9% to 306.89. ADRs of Ericsson on Friday closed 12% lower at $5.03 after the Swedish telecommunications-equipment company posted disappointing third-quarter guidance that missed analyst expectations. ADRs of BRF closed down 7.1% to $1.82 after the Brazilian food company announced the price it received for the sale of new shares.
