Calling Geelong’s convincing win over Hawthorn on Friday night for radio, Darcy accidentally found himself commentating a replay of a goal, mistakenly thinking it was live. “You can hear as I’m calling, I’m thinking, ‘Jeeze this is eerily similar to the last play’,” Darcy said on Triple M Melbourne’s Hot Breakfast.
