AMD (NASDAQ:AMD) CEO Dr Lisa Su has confirmed the company is on track for major product launches in 2022, including its Zen 4 CPUs and RDNA 3 graphics cards. AMD's Zen 3 CPUs have typically demanded higher prices, helping boost its revenue Antony LeatherThe announcement came as AMD published its Q2 2021 financial results, which show a 99 percent year-on-year increase in revenue. The future looks bright too, with its highly-anticipated Zen 4 CPUs expected to usher in a 5nm manufacturing process and DDR5 support with new 3D V-Cache technology being introduced to existing Zen 3 CPUs before the end of 2020 too. However, Dr Lisa Su did state that while the rest of 2021 would likely see a continuation of these issues, 2022 should see a greater easing of the shortages. The rest of 2021 will see additional launches from AMD, though, with its Zen-based APUs and RX 6600 XT graphics card rumored to launch next month.
