SINGAPORE (Sept 15): Singtel and Optus Business announced that its 2013 five-year telecommunications and managed services contract with ANZ Bank has been extended to 2020. The scope of services provided includes domestic and international data network, mobility, collaboration, contact centre and managed services supporting ANZ Bank’s operations. “The services provided by Singtel have played an important role as we use technology to make it easier for our customers to do their banking with us and provide innovative ways for our staff to collaborate,” says Shayne Elliott, chief executive officer, ANZ Bank. “We are very pleased with the ANZ contract renewal and look forward to continuing to leverage the Singtel Group's scale, expertise and innovation to support ANZ's business objectives in years to come,” says Chua Sock Koong, Singtel Group chief executive officer. Shares of Singtel last traded at S$3.87.
