The Abinta Kabir Foundation has been launched in memory of Abinta Kabir who was killed during the Holey Artisan Bakery attack. Abinta’s family members, friends, the US ambassador, Italian ambassador, among others, were in attendance. Ruba said Abinta, Faraaz and Tarishi were best friends since childhood. Ruba also said: “The foundation will also work to set up a school for girls to fulfil Abinta’s dream.”At the programme, a book named “An intimate portrait of Abinta Kabir” was unveiled by her family. Earlier on February 21, Athena Gallery was renamed to Abinta Gallery of Fine Arts.
