An estimated 30,000 delegates are expected to attend the forthcoming Africa Climate Summit, the government has said. A Cabinet meeting held on Tuesday noted that the Summit which will be held from September 4- 6 has attracted immense global interest. The Africa Climate Summit (ACS) will be organized in parallel with this year's Africa Climate Week from September 4-8. The inaugural Africa Climate Summit is organized by the African Union Commission in collaboration with Kenya as the host country. The Summit will serve as a platform to showcase progress, exchange perspectives and begin convergence on common priorities for global discussions on climate change.
