Access Bank has just clinched the ‘Best Overall Website’ in the Banking Category of the 2017 Web Jurist Awards by Phillips Consulting. Access Bank’s points from the different categories summed up to a total of 315, followed by Zenith Bank with a total rating of 303 points, while UBA took the third spot. Access Bank’s claim of the top prize didn’t come as a surprise to many within the financial sector, as the Bank has been regularly featured among the top 3 sites in Nigeria over the past 5 years. On the award received, Amaechi Okobi, Access Bank’s Group Head, Corporate Communications, stated that the new website was developed after listening to customers’ needs for better navigation-experience and usage. The Web Jurist award is one of the most respected assessments of websites in Nigeria.
