The victory improved the Aces’ win-loss record to 2-4. Center Nonoy Baclao contributed eight points while Sonny Thoss had eight points, 10 rebounds and three blocks also for the Aces. The Aces scored 25 points in the second period while employing defense to limit the Hotshots’ output to only seven points in that same quarter. The Hotshots outscored the Aces, 25-16 at the end of third frame to narrow the gap, 50-57. Replacement import Joel Wright posted 30 points and 22 rebounds while Ryan Roose Garcia had 15 points to lead the Star Hotshots.
