Region of Waterloo Public Health reported 103 new COVID-19 infections over the weekend. A total of 256 people have died from COVID-19 in the region since the start of the pandemic. The number of active cases in the region continues to fall. The region logged 3,014 variant cases:A total of 2,669 linked to the B117 variant first detected in the UK. Vaccine distribution updateThe region said 52 per cent of eligible adult residents have received at least one dose of a vaccine.
