FRANCE - On Sunday, a couple of women threw canned soup on the Mona Lisa at The Louvre Museum. In the video, you can see the climate activists throwing a red liquid at the painting before crossing the wooden barrier. One of the women removed her jacket to reveal a t-shirt reading, "Riposte Alimentaire." It means food response and is the name of a food sustainability activist group in France that says the government is breaking its commitments to protect the climate and food source. The good news is that the Leonardo Da Vinci painting is protected under armored glass.
