Adamawa APC congress: Our agreement still stands, Nyako insists

Raising from a one-day stakeholders meeting, the Murtala Nyako bloc of the All Progressives Congress (APC) said that it will work assiduously to win the governorship seat come 2023 elections. The Nyako’s bloc which broke away from the party (APC) to join forces with the Africa Democratic Party (ADC) out of protest against alleged injustice meted to them during congresses in 2019 has since rejoined the party after reconciliation. “I have taken time to interrogate the speculation of likely imposition but I found out that the claim is a mere rumour,” Nyako maintained. They reminded the stakeholders and supporters that impunity and injustice were what made the APC lost the 2019 governorship election in Adamawa state assuring that such mistakes will not be allowed again. They charged their teeming followers to inform their people of the resolutions of this stakeholders meeting across nooks and crannies of the state to present the true picture on the matter.
