He said apart from John Jinapor who raised some pertinent issues, the whole Economic Lecture Series was meaningless. Omanhene said that instead of the NDC's Finance and Economic Team subjecting what the government’s Economic Management Team said to real critique, they were rather attacking the personality of Dr Bawumia describing him as ‘Walewale Adams Smith’. The NDC's Economic Lecture Series was organised to deal with what they said were some misleading facts and patent misstatements laced with populist rhetoric by Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, the head of the government's Economic Management Team (EMT). The NDC's Economic Lecture Series was held at Mensvic Hotel on April 4, 2019.
