Advance bus tickets for Eid-ul-Fitr trips will be made available from Mar 14.Homebound passengers will be able to purchase tickets for trips seven days ahead of Eid - Mar 25 to Mar 31, according to Shuvankar Ghosh Rakesh, general secretary of the Bangladesh Bus-Truck Owners Association. Passengers will be able to buy bus tickets both online and at counters from Mar 14. ""However, many transport companies will only sell tickets online this time. Bus fares will be charged as per the fare fixed by the BRTA [Bangladesh Road Transport Association]. "We are making a number of plans to try and ensure that the passengers taking this year's Eid trips are safe and do not face any accidents," he said.
