Ajay Kumar, 26, from Uttar Pradesh, had reportedly been having an illicit affair with the woman from the same village. > The Malaysia Council of Hindu Temples and Hindu Asso­cia­tions (Mahima) have been told to stay out of temple matters in Penang, the paper also reported. Penang Hindu Endowments Board (PHEB) deputy chairman Senator RA Lingeshwaran said he was aware of a plan by Mahima to hold a conference regarding Hindu temple matters on Penang. PHEB said that while the intention is commendable, it is already coordinating and handling temple matters in Penang.
