Tania Rab, senior vice-president of Jatiya Samajtantrik Dal-JSD, has declared assets worth nearly 14 times more than those of her husband and party chief ASM Abdur Rab. Tania, a businesswoman by profession, earns an annual income of Tk 8.29 million, whereas her husband reports a yearly intake of Tk 2.6 million. In addition, the JSD candidate possesses 50 bhori (583.2 grammes) of gold and furniture worth Tk 1 million. This includes Tk 1.64 million in financial institutions and Tk 10 million in bond and share investments. The JSD chief also inherited property worth Tk 5.45 million and paid Tk 347,600 in his latest tax filing.
