After NGT allows odd-even, Arvind Kejriwal govt drops scheme in Delhi for now

In a surprising move, the Arvind Kejriwal government today called off the odd-even scheme hours after the National Green Tribunal allowed it to be implemented in Delhi with certain conditions. The NGT today allowed the Delhi government to implement odd-even scheme with certain conditions. The Delhi government has proposed to implement odd-even scheme between November 13 and 17. The NGT also said that no official or women and two-wheelers would be given any exemption while implementing odd-even scheme in Delhi. At one point during hearing, the NGT asked the DTC representative if he had read the tribunal's order.
