Agenda 2050: Gombe Gov commends FG’s plan to lift 34m Nigerians out of poverty by 2025


The Federal Government has been commended for initiating the ‘Agenda 2050’ program which is targeted at lifting not fewer than 34 million Nigerians out of poverty by the year 2025. The commendation was made by the Gombe State Governor, Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya at the commencement of a two-day technical meeting on the preparation of the Medium National Development Plan (MTNDP) for 2021 – 2025 for the six states of the North-East sub-region. Ibrahim Jalo stressed that “We have gathered here today to deliberate on the inputs from the collated templates of the Northeast States which will be used in the draft national plan.”.
