PUTRAJAYA: Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi (pix) advised Malaysians to be calm and prudent in evaluating the allegations and slander that are planned by the foreign media to undermine the country's image. He said the people should be positive and fend off all the issues raised by the foreign media. "We must not mortgage our sovereignty and independence to the foreign media to dictate national politics. In conjunction with Hari Raya, Ahmad Zahid urged Malaysians to take part in open houses to strengthen brotherhood in the pluralistic society of Malaysia.
