Oxford United have signed forward Aidomo Emakhu for an undisclosed fee from fellow Championship side Millwall. The 22-year-old has agreed a two-and-half-year deal at the Kassam Stadium after three years with the Lions. The former Shamrock Rovers striker scored three goals in 74 league appearances for Millwall after signing in January 2023. Two of the Irishman's three goals have come this season - the last coming in his final Millwall appearance - a 4-0 win over Charlton Athletic on 24 January. "He's a player with significant pace and the ability to create chances," Oxford head coach Matt Bloomfield told the club website., external"We believe he can continue to improve, and we see him as important for both the present and what we're building towards in the long term."
