It was a gathering of captains of industry on Tuesday as the former Managing Director of Access Bank PLC, Aigbovbioise AIG-Imoukhuede, held a service of songs for his late mother, Mrs Emily Aig-Imoukhuede at their Sabongida Ora country home, Owan West Local Government Area of Edo State. The Deputy Governor of Edo State, Comrade Philip Shaibu, led other dignitaries such as the former Chief of Staff to President Goodluck Jonathan, Mike Oghiadomhe, Edo State deputy chief of staff, Jimoh Ijegbai, Chief (Dr.) Richard Oma Ahonaruogho, SAN, past President, University of Benin Alumni Association and Hon Bandele Babalola, former Chairman, Akure North Local Government Area, Ondo State, to grace the occasion. In his sermon titled, “Let not your heart be in troubled” taken from the book of John 14:1-3, Rt Rev. Ehigiemetor said that the late Mrs Aig-Imoukhuede did not die, but that “she is in heaven with the Lord”. Commenting on his late mum, the first son of the deceased, Aigbovbioise AIG-Imoukhuede, said he would miss his late mother’s words of advice and monthly prayer text messages.
