Stanley OparaThe Chairman, FinTech Associates Limited, Dr. Segun Aina, has called for more financial technology adoption in the Nigerian Stock Exchange and the capital market at large. Aina said this on Wednesday at the Closing Gong ceremony of the FinTech Association of Nigeria at the NSE headquarters in Lagos. “FinTech companies are doing well in Exchanges abroad, and we must do everything possible to encourage players in Nigeria,” he said. Aina called for increased collaboration among stakeholders in the financial ecosystem, saying that was the major step needed to drive FinTech in Nigeria. He had recently said, “Looking at the FinTech environment in Nigeria, I see that a lot of institutions are doing great things (banks, FinTech hubs, technology hubs, payment system companies, technology companies and even students in the schools).
