LOS ANGELES — As air taxi travel gets closer to liftoff in the United States, Archer Aviation announced plans for a 2026 launch in Los Angeles ahead of the World Cup. The aircraft service said it plans to use existing infrastructure at locations that include USC, Los Angeles International Airport, Hollywood Burbank Airport and SoFi Stadium. Equity, accessibility, emissions and noise are all key concerns to address when it comes to air taxi travel, transit experts have said.
